Kint Sugi (Kin Suki) ~ An Ancient Japaese Art Form of mending pottery/ceramics. If something important is broken, it is put back together with epoxy containing gold or silver dust, so the scars mark the history of it being broken and restored to something stronger and more beautiful than it was before.
